Sun River Canyon

One of our most favorite spot in Montana is Sun River Canyon.  Located on the Rocky Mountain front.

Following a gravel road for twenty miles from Augusta, it is a wonderful drive to the canyon area.

A Elk Refuse area is along the way, Hundred of Elks are there in the winter and early spring, making for a great picture taking opportunity.

Sun River Canyon is Bighorn Sheep country, camping is available, and the views are breathtaking.
